Playing guitar in worship shouldn't be complicated! Use of Capo is encouraged! And the music software can always be adjusted to give you easier options for Chords based on a Capo. 

Bar chords are discouraged where possibly in favour of open chords... but you still need to know where to bar if you need to! 

Rhythm technique is very important, as is finger placement and clarity of notes.

It is also important to make sure you are watching others and listening to dynamics and responding accordingly.
