Music Exec Team
Behind all that goes on musically at OBC is a group of people who help and encourage the coordinator. This team of people were established before the role of "worship coordinator" was created and were essential to the evolution of the role at the church. They meet a couple of times a year to pray, review and develop the musical worship in OBC.
Martyn Travers
Martyn, the minister of OBC meets with the music coordinator on a weekly basis to plan the services and share spiritual guidance and accountability.
Jon Newman
Jon is the current music coordinator. He works closely with Martyn to plan and run worship services and special events in Orpington Baptist Church and with Churches Together In Orpington. His role includes playing and leading music and also have an oversight over the AV equipment and Music display system.
Jo Lewis
Jo works practically with the worship coordinator as the contact for the worship team. She aids with coordination of personnel and administrative work needed for regular Sunday services and events.
Sanjay Salins and Gen Donald
Sanjay and Gen are on the team every Sunday primarily as spiritual support and provide the consistent presence amongst the rotation of musicians and singers. They also take responsibility for leading when the coordinator is away. But their presence in the group on a Sunday is mainly to provide a consistency and spiritual covering.
Pam Reynolds
She is the person who organises the music for people.
