Overhead Projection

Much like the sound operator, awareness is essential to operating the projection at OBC. Hearing where the musical worship leader is going is very important in order to display the right words. You will need to be able to feel the music, or know the sense of where the preacher is in their sermon to be able to pre-empt what they may require. If it is a quiz, you don't want to display the revealed answer too early on the screen! A heightened sense of undistracted awareness will help you display what is required at the right time. For those who love to enter into the musical worship, when you are operating the projector sadly you will probably find you miss out on completely entering into worship as much as you want to.

You will need to be able to insert powerpoints into the Zionworx software at short notice, knowing where to save the files so they can be accessed within the software.

Also, from time to time there will be problems with the software, usually a reboot of the machine will solve the problem. There are always people around to help out with problems.
