CHORD CHARTS AND SHEET MUSIC

We use Power Music Software to display chords on the screen however you may find Onsong a useful app to use at home. You can download and open the onsong or text files within Onsong on your ipad and transpose the Chords within the app! You can also add Capo and even annotate notes for yourself. When you turn up on Sunday to play you have the option of using your own Ipad with your own practice notes on it, or view the music on the screens that are on stage projecting the music from a master computer.

The philosophy of the band is to ensure that musicians of all skill levels can play together.

You may notice that there are fewer Chords in the Chord charts than you are used to, or that there are in music copies, that is because we have simplified the Chords. Musicians who are of a higher level will be able to add passing notes and play around the basic Chords with skill, but also a beginner will be able to play the basic Chords alongside skilled musicians and not get lost! We also use Capo and Transpose to make the Chords more "friendly" to some!

These links will give you access to all our Chord Charts and Scanned music sheets from our purchased music books. Please do not copy or reproduce these. These belong to Orpington Baptist Church and are available for reference as a resource for practicing. This folder (hosted on Dropbox) is constantly being updated so if something isn't there, it will be eventually. Please use the Sheet music copies to reference the tune and arrangement only. On a Sunday we will use the Chord charts as the "same hymn sheet" we all will be following.
